Steven and Jaimie tied the knot at the beautiful beachside resort “The Anchorage”, which is accurately describes as “Luxury by the sea”. Cinematographers James and Zach arrived to the venue at around 1pm, two hours prior to the ceremony as there was a bit of rain forecasted on the radar. We walked around and talked to the coordinators and it was decided that it will go ahead outside on the Dalton Lawn, as if it does rain it should only be light and pass over.

At 3pm when the ceremony started it did decide to rain, this did not slow down the day at all. The ceremony was still stunning and everyone could definitely feel the love between Steven and Jaimie.

Following the ceremony we then walked around the venue as it has so many options for photo/film. After the rain passed it created a perfect sunset and the photoshoot could not have gone better.

The reception kicked off at 6pm in the Chesworth room and the setting was stunning. Being a relatively small wedding of 60 guests the room was nice and open with 4 long tables. At 8pm Steven and Jaimie surprised their guests with an awesome fireworks display as they cut the cake, everyone was so stoked and it got everyone pumped for the dance floor which followed.

Thank you Steven and Jaimie for letting us help capture your special day. I can’t wait to start editing it all together 🙂
